Prayers for Lisa S. as she is going to the Neurologist today for the results of her EMG test. Please be thinking of her as she is finding out answers.
Reposting Prayer for lisa
Please know that I am praying for you. I also have Lyme Disease so often times words don't come easy. But my prayers come very easy in my mind and The Lord hears them,of that I am certain. I pray for healing for your and also for your loved ones. I know that Our Father in Heaven knows what you need most and I am praying for healing for whatever you need - especially for what you need right now. molly caporale |

Emergent Prayer for Victoria
The word Emergent means: calling for immediate action. I have found a call for Immediate Prayers while going through my Lyme Bloggers today.
Please pray for Victoria. Victoria is teenager with Lyme Disease. Victoria is currently in the hospital. She is having her port removed because there is an infection surrounding it. Her echo cardiogram has also come back abnormal. Victoria is having chills as well as an extreme crushing pain in her head. She is going to have someone else update her blog over the next few days so she can remember what all is happening. She also has a fever. She feels as if she's dying. Please pray for her and comment on her blog so that she knows that we're all praying for her!

Question & Answers
*** this is extremely long *** However I tried to simplify the answers for each question.
1. Is there a time limit on the blog, are they up for one week? Or forever?
They will be up forever as long as I don't delete the blog. They will "archive" over on the side by Month. There will also be labels (See Question # 10).
2. Are they all going to show on the same page? Like when there is a blog for Jaime and Krissy, do you go to one site where you can see all of them or is it a separate page for each person?
The website is:
http://prayingforlymies.blogspot.com
In order to post a prayer, you must leave a comment under the biography.
All Lymie Prayers will show up on the same page ... however once there are 7 days of posts, the older messages will be archived. You must click on "older posts" at the bottom of the blog. There is also a limit on how many posts can be on any given "page," so if we go over that limit ... it will also be archived.
3. Is there a link that I could put where people would see the blogs for all of us?
http://prayingforlymies.blogspot.com
4. How do I post a scripture, message, prayer for the featured Lymie?
You just simply leave a comment (at the bottom of each post there is a comment section).
5. How do I make a comment on someones message, scripture or prayer?
Under each post, there is a # Comments that you can click on. Sometimes it may say 0 Comments or 3 Comments ... Click on that. You will be given an option of writing a comment yourself. Right now, anonymous comments can be given, but it would be nice if you could write your name in the comment so that we know who is praying for us!
6. Can I write a message anytime or is there a specific day for writing messages?
You can write as much as you like or as little as you like. There is no specific time for writing messages on the blog.
7. How do I know who is the Featured Lymie?
Just look at the title of the blog post. There will be a biography for each Lymie so that we may get to know him/her a little better.
8. I just found out I am the featured Lymie. Is there anything I need to do?
I will send you a questionnaire that will allow me to tell your story in the form of a biography. It is very important that you fill out and send back the questionnaire as soon as you receive it.
9. Over on the left hand column, there is something called Lymie Prayers. What is this?
You will see that there will be names under Lymie Prayers. These are my labels. If you click on a label, you will see blog post that correspond to that label. Example: If you click on FAQ, you will bring up this blog post. If you click on Lisa S., you will bring up blog posts that have been labeled with Lisa's name. I will also have a label that says, "Prayer from ----." If you have posted a prayer message, you can click this and see all of your messages. :D There are some that didn't have names attached (PS I can't see your email address when you send your messages so I have no idea where they come from) that I have listed as Prayer from Anonymous. So if any of these messages are yours ... leave a comment under those and I will relabel it.
*** PS. I have deleted the ability to "Post a prayer" as a blog post, now they are comments. So there will be no further labels called "Prayer from ...." Just as a side note.
10. How can I become a Featured Lymie
If you would like to be added to the Featured Lymie list, please let me know by commenting on this FAQ or any post at all. Make sure you leave contact information so that I can get in touch with you with a questionnaire. The questions are over on the left side of the blog.
If you would like to nominate a Lymie to be Lymie of the week, please leave a comment on this FAQ and leave as much information about the Lymie as possible and email address so that I can contact them. Please let them know they've been nominated so they aren't taken by surprise when I contact t hem.
11. Is there a difference between a "comment" and a "post?"
The comment section is right under each post. Click on comments and there will be a space available for writing something. .
A post is something that I write.
12. Why do you moderate all comments?
I do this for only one reason. It's so that if you want to write me a personal message leaving your information for contacting ... you can. It won't be seen by anyone else at all unless I choose to publish it. If it's got your personal information in it, I won't be publishing it. :o) This is the way you can contact me with your email address or any other way to contact you so that you can be featured.

Serious Life Magazine
I would love for all our friends to go visit this online magazine. It's beautifully set up and if I did it correctly, I linked our blog for their April Edition of the magazine that should be coming out soon.
If you go to page 157, you'll see tons of blogs that are on just about every subject imaginable. Hopefully ours will be on one of those pages in April. Please go visit and learn about the wonderful families in the magazine. It's pretty awesome and is done by Brent Riggs of ... where laughter lives: The Riggs Family Blog.
Go visit them to as they have their own amazing story.

Lisa's Biography
I started getting sick in 1991. I went from Dr to Dr with heart palpitations, rashes, head pressure, memory problems, body aches, internal vibrations, and much more. They just kept telling me I had panic attacks. After 15 years of getting sicker and sicker I finally get diagnosed with Lyme Disease. After 3 weeks of Doxycycline I just got worse. I found an LLMD (lyme literate MD) but have a bad reactions to antibiotics. After three years in Lyme treatment I'm not much better. I also have bulging disks in my neck. I've lost much use in my right arm. My shoulder hurts all the time. But the worst is the endless fatigue caused by the lyme. I feel like all energy has been sucked from every cell in my body. It is leading me into a bad depression. I don't think if I didn't have faith in God that I would still be here. I know that this is the path that I'm supposed to lead so I just pray for the strength to help me get through it. I have three children, two dogs, three cats, and a bunny. They keep me gong. I'd be in bed all day if it wasn't for them! Thank you for your prayers everyone from the bottom of my heart!
Lisa
If you would like to find out more about Lisa, go to her myspace page.
Lisa mentioned some other prayer requests on our Truth About Lyme forum. So I thought I would add them to her note.
Jason, Lisa's husband, has had a seizure, very bad joint pain, extreme fatigue, bad sweats, lots of problems, and yet has two negative lyme tests.
Matthew , Lisa's son, has serious heart problems. He has a ventricular septal defect, which has led to other physical problems
Danielle, Lisa's daughter, had a bull's eye rash. She was diagnosed with spider bite, now two years later is developing joint pain and has bladder issues. She also has shaky and dizzy spells.
Brittany, Lisa's oldest daughter had Bartonella when she was 5. She has had a couple fainting spells but seems to be okay. Please pray that the diseases are not returning
Grandma Betty and Grandpa Allen prayers needed as they are in recovery from blood clots and both recovery from cancer
Dad & Diana, emphysema, blood disorders, prostate cancer not returning
Aunt Renee, also fighting lyme disease
Snickers and Tuffy who are both getting old I'm praying God just takes them and I don't have to make the hard decisions that Dana just had to go through!

Praying for Lymies
The blog no longer runs in the manner listed below. In order to "post" a prayer, song or message, you must leave a comment below a post that's already there that was written by me. I wanted to leave this post in it's entirety (minus the email address) for posterity's sake. To see a FAQ on the blog including how to leave a comment, Go here

Welcome to those from the Truth About Lyme Disease. Can you email? Then you can post on this blog! This blog has been set up strictly for praying for other Lymies. What will happen is that I will set up a temporary email address for every member that we want to pray for ... then all you have to do is email that address with your scriptures, prayers and thoughts for that person.
I discovered that this was all possible through another blogger. He just recently set up a blog called, "Would you Pray for" and when Dana (our lovely Truth About Lyme Disease Extraordinaire) suggested that we have a prayer warrior day I thought this might be a perfect way to blend the blogging world with our forum world. Plus other people may find the blog and pray for us as well.
When you send the email to the specified address, you will put the "title" of the blog post in your subject line of your email. Then in the body of your email, you put your prayer, scripture, thoughts for that person. Then sign your post and add your blog at the bottom if you have one. :D I will write the example here and then I will actually DO it so you can see how it will look outside the post.
Also to clarify, I do not receive any of these emails in any inbox. So I do not see your emails personally until they show up on the blog as a post. which also means I do not see your personal email address!
Today's Temporary Email Address is:

- I am living my life. I've treated Lyme, Bartonella, Candida and Heavy Metal Poisoning. My symptoms were drastically improved after 2 years of treatment. I did well for a year or two and then started having a backslide in August of 2011. I've been seeing my doctor since March 1 2007. I have severe D defiency, but my Iron levels are now normal (after Iron infusions). I'm treating with oral antibiotics currently for Lyme, Bartonella and Babesia. I'm living life as full as I can with the skills that I have and the love I receive. My recent labs showed a very weak immune system and low Cortisol. So we're fighting to bring that back up. Some therapies I'm using are IV Vitamin C, HBOT treatments and herbal remedies plus yeast fighting medicines along with medicines to boost cortisol levels. I've not used the HBOT in a while, but I found it helpful. I'm on a load of oral antibiotics again because the herbal remedies alone were not effective enough. Living life as full as I can with the skills that I have and the love I receive!
