Amy, also known as Amyloo from California, has been a member of our forum for the last 6 months. Amy is a Lyme Disease fighter and also struggles with the co-infections of Bartonella, Babesia and Ehrlichiosis. Amy has been sick the last four years.
Amy uses a wheelchair for weeks at a time, but has not been "confined" to one in a while. She uses it every now and then for assistance, but knows that it could happen again. She has horrid pain and feels as if she has toxic blood. She feels like she's just being poisoned and sick inside all the time. Amy currently has a PICC line (as most of us know is a peripheral IV inserted into a vein in the arm that goes straight to the heart) to give her the medication Rocephin. However the herx reaction she had was so great, they stopped her medication for a respite of a week.
Amy has a 13 year old daughter who lives with Type 1 Diabetes and is very brittle. Her daughter rides a roller coaster of blood sugar highs and lows and yet remains on the honor roll. Amy is extremely proud of her. Amy's daughter needs a healthy mom, but Lyme has taken that away.
Amy feels blessed that she is Lymie of the Week and wants to say "God Bless" to everyone that prays for her this week.
